These workers men, women & children toil without health & safety protections.No right to Occupational Health & Safety ,Workers Compensation, minimum wage, overtime etc. In Alberta there is no minimum age regarding children who work on our farms, ranches & feedlots. In 2006 a 7 year old was killed while feeding cattle, when the ATV he was riding rolled on him. Thank-you for calling attention to feedlot alley. It is more than a terrible place for the cows.
