I am a new resident of Hot Springs. I’ve never attended a documentary film festival before. Being a new member of this community, attending this festival with a large swath of the population here was an excellent experience. Things were organized, pleasant, and enjoyable. Of course, certain films were overwhelming, but I happen to believe that’s a good thing. I also appreciated the diversity of subjects. My favorite was 10 Questions for the Dalai Lama. The one I thought most difficult to watch was about people starving in Tanzania. I’m grateful I was able to see each one I was able to view. It’s a added plus for me that there were free tickets in the local phone book. I’m very grateful the committee chose this way to enable more people to attend the festival.

Have the dates been set for the 2007 festival? We are making travel plans and need to know. Thanks!
