Anyone interested in doing a documentary on the insurgency in the Philippines after the Span-Am war and how President Howard Taft (then Governor of the Philippines Taft) handled the Muslims and Tribes in revolt.

I don’t have the time — doing another project — just thought this would be interesting — I’d like to know how that conflict compares to today’s situation in the middle east and how it was approached.

Dear Friends,

Help me win the Babelgum Online Film Festival!

My film, “PEACE”, is competing in the Social/Environment category and needs more votes to make the shortlist. So please give me a helping hand by voting for it yourself – it’s pretty simple:

· Download Babelgum here: http://www.babelgum.com/download

· Enter the Films & Festivals Community (it’s the first one on the top left corner when you start Babelgum) and search for my film: PEACE

· Use the Rate tool to give it your vote – 5 stars please!

If I win, I’ll be heading to Cannes to pick up my award of 20,000 Euros from Spike Lee, on May 20th. I’d love you to come with me and sip champagne while rubbing shoulders with the stars…and maybe you can. Because Babelgum is offering a prize for the person who writes the most original review of the winning films, using the Comment tool or Message Board. Write a glowing review about my entry and if I win, you win!

Thanks for your support

Synopse: From a group of islands of the cost of Mother Africa comes a journey of the senses. Atmospheres that bring us back to that special place where we feel free to be a spectator while reality is suppressed by the senses. The immense Ocean, the commanding Volcano and the Sounds of life pose the perfect set for the enfolding of a narrative were words become sounds as well.

A film by:
Pedro Azevedo Dias / Tiago Araujo e Gama /
Rui Mota Pinto
